Polygons or not?

 Big idea: Different shapes can have many similarities.

We had to organise shapes depending if they were polygons or not.

Question:Do you no how many sides that a decagon?

Reflection: I like counting in 4's.    

Reflection: I like Maths.

Reflection:I wish that they were harder.

Healthy Eating

WALT: Write interesting and exciting descriptions.

We were looking at a picture of a young girl who is eating lots of delicious healthy food.We had

to describe what we saw using our 5 sense.

The Verminous Burglar

WALT: Organise our ideas to write a narrative using the elements of a narrative story.

We wrote a 6 sentence narrative story to learn the elements of a narrative. 


Reflection: I liked that my character moved because it looked more realistic.
Reflection:I liked the background because it mach wrote.
Reflection:Next time I wont to move my character slower.

Learning how to write correct sentences

WALThat - correct sentences have special parts.


We looked at a picture of boy flying on a book and then we had to write a story about it. We got to make the story up using whatever we wanted. 





Reflection:  I liked that I used correct sentences. Next time I want to use add some alliteration to my stories.  Do you like my story?

Gardening

We got our garden ready to plant. We had to use quite a lot of strength to dig.



We didn't have any seed raising mix so we had to make some.










                                                                   

 I wrote labels for all the types of seeds then my brothers coloured the sticks in.
              
This is what they looked like when they germinated!

We dug trenches in the garden, then we put grass and seaweed in them. This is called dubbil diging.
